THE ARYA SAMAJ

The Arya Samaj held a meeting in Karachi on the 19th January when a resolution was passed protesting against the policy of the Punjab Government in making Urdu compulsory in the primary schools of the Punjab.

The Arya Samaj in a meeting in Hyderabad which was attended by about 100 persons, passed a resolution expressing Sympathy with the Hindus of Lohar State and requesting the Government and the Nawab of Lohar State and also the Punjab Arya Pritinidhi Sabha to take Steps to redress the alleged grievances of Hindus of Lohar State.
