Remembering Late Assandas Jethanand Uttamchandani, more popularly known as A.J. Uttam on his 92 birth anniversary (16 December 1923-03 January 2005) Born in Hyderabad, Sindh. He started writing short stories, essays and literature. He participate in quit India movement in august 1942. He migrate to India after the partition, He married to Sugani Narwani in 1947 with time she also got fame in same field of sindhi literature for being known as the famous sindhi novelist Sundri Uttamchandani.
Uttam is among the topmost crusader for the preservation and promotion of Sindhi language and culture after the tragedy of partition. Uttam is a writer, critic and a journalist of repute.
