FROM GUL HAYAT COLLECTION: " SUNDRI UTAMCHANDANI" by Holaram Hans Before partition Guli Sadarangani earned name and fame as a Progressive writer. Her novel " Itdad" brought him in the line of best women writers. After partition Sundri earned same position in Sindhi literature of Sindh and Hind. She was born in 1924 in Sindh and breathed her last in 2013 in India. It is amazing to note that there are couple of Sindhi writers in India as Maya Rahi is Better Half of Kirshan Rahi, Indra Vaswani is life partner of Hresh Vaswani, Kala Parkash remained Better Half of Motion Parkas and Utam and Sundri were two sides of one coin. Sundri was right hand for her husband and participated in all movements with shoulder to shoulder to her husband. In 2012, Shri Holaram Hans wrote book so as to pay tributes to this great lady of progressive Sindhi literature. Thanks to Ghazi Muhammad Ayub Shar for presenting this important book to Gul Hayat.
