"Ishq Na Charco Bhain" by Makhdoom Saeed-u-Zaman "Atif". When my father Dr. Dur Muhammad Pathan was in Sindhology, he was near & dear to Makhdooms of Hala. The late G.Allna introduced my father and Makhdoom Jamil-u-Zaman to each other. Prior to this Makhdoom Saeed-u-Zaman remained student of my father in Islamia college Karachi. Both Makhdooms paved way for friendship between him and Makhdooms. My father attended and also presided over literary sittings at Hala. Makhdoom Saeed-u-Zaman's first poetry book was launched with my father as chief guest of the event. Poetry & Politics are common factors in Makhdooms of Hala. Saeed-u-Zaman is also one of best poets. My father established "Makhdoom Corner" in Gul Hayat and have collected material on political, social and literary contributions of Makhdooms of Hala. Makhdoom Jamil-u-zaman and Makhdoom Saeed-u-Zaman both have visited Gul Hayat. This book is available in Makhdoom Corner of Gul Hayat. (Mumtaz Ali Pathan)
سنڌالاجئ جي ڊپٽي ڊائريڪٽرئ واري زماني ۾ بابا سائين هالا جي مخدومن جي ڏاڍو ويجهو رهيو. مرحوم جي.الانا بابي ۽ مخدوم جميل الزمان وچ ۾ دوستي ڪرئي. مخدوم سعيدالزمان ڪراچئ واري اسلاميا ڪاليج ۾ بابي وٽ پڙھيا هئا. شعر و شاعري ۽ سياست هالا جي مخدومن جا ڪامن فيڪٽر رهيا آھن. مخدوم سعيدالزمان “عاطف“ ن فقط سابق ايم پي اي ۽ سياستدان آھن پر بهترين شاعر ب آھن. سندن هي ڪتاب گل حيات ۾ قائم ڪيل “مخدوم ڪارنر“ ۾ موجود آھي.(ممتاز علي پٺاڻ)
